  • What is WWWOW Awards?
    WWWOW Awards is Malaysia's only Internet for All Awards. It is based on 100% user-generated entries to showcase the incredible creativity, ingenuity and entrepreneurialism of ordinary Malaysians using the Internet in extraordinary ways to inspire others.
  • What is the duration of this campaign?
    Nomination and Submission - 14 Sep until 12 Oct 2015
    Call to Vote for People Choice Award - 19 until 30 Oct 2015
    Judging and Shortlisting - 13 Oct until 13 Nov 2015
    Award Night & Winner Announcement - 20 November 2015

  • How can I be sure you've received my entry?
    You'll be directed to a confirmation page if your entry is successful.
  • How do I edit an entry that I have already submitted?
    You will not be allowed to edit your submission. If you have an error in your first submission, submit a new entry. Your newest entry will overwrite your previous ones. If you have an enquiry, please kindly email us at empower@digi.com.my.
  • Does the entry need to be in English?
    Not necessarily. The entry title must be either in English or BM.
  • What do I need to submit if I want to participate?
    For all categories, you must include URL/ Website Addresses along with completed submission form through the website. Complete submission includes a PDF portfolio which will be used to support your work.
    For Shortlisted Finalists :
    1. Submitted portfolio will be uploaded on the website for public voting
      ( People's Choice Awards )
    2. Submitted Video / Artwork will be uploaded on the website for public voting
      ( People's Choice Awards )
    3. Submitted URL or Link will be uploaded on the website for public voting
      ( People's Choice Award )
  • Do I have to register in order to submit or vote on the website?
    Yes. This is a mandatory requirement. You can also register via Facebook or Twitter.
  • What are the criterias for submission for each of the categories?
      • NO political, racial, seditious, sexual, defamatory entries or subjects allowed.
      • • Entries must be original and submitted by the creator – NOT be borrowed or plagiarized.

  • How do I know if I've submitted all the relevant documents and details?
    1. Ensure you complete and fill in all compulsory fields in the submission form.
    2. Attach all relevant documents/ case studies or portfolio which will showcase your awesome work.

  • Can I enter in more than one category?
    Yes. You may also submit multiple entries in the same category.

  • What is the People's Choice Award?
    People's Choice Award is awarded to the entry with the most votes during the voting period (19 till 30 October 2015). The entries with the most votes will win the People's Choice Award.
  • Who qualifies for the People's Choice Award?
    Top 5 Shortlisted Finalists of each category will qualify for the People's Choice Award.
  • How can I vote?
    You must first register via Facebook or Twitter for access to the voting engine.
  • How many times can I vote for each entry?
    You may vote for different entries from different categories. However you are only allowed to cast ONE vote for each entry per day. If you wish to vote for that same entry again, you may only do so the next day.
  • Once I submit my Vote, can I cancel my vote?
    No, once your vote is submitted, you cannot cancel your vote.
  • Why are my votes important?
    Your votes are important to help determine the winning entry for the category of People's Choice Award.

  • How are the winners selected?
    There will be 2 rounds of judging
    1. Preliminary Round: An independent panel of judges will select the Top 5 Shortlisted Finalists. Top 5 Shortlisted Finalists will be selected based on the Judging Criteria listed below. Incomplete entries will not be entertained.
    2. Final Pitch Presentation : Top 5 Shortlisted Finalists from each category will be invited to pitch in front of the judges. Winners will be selected based on the Judging Criteria listed below. Incomplete entries will not be entertained.
  • What are the judging criterias?
    WWWOW Awards evaluates entries using different criterias for each category.
    Content category is evaluated based on four (4) criterias: content, concept & writing, quality of craft, and overall experience
    Commerce category is evaluated based on four (4) criterias: content, visual design, customer engagement and overall experience.
    Community category is evaluated based on four (4) criterias: content, creativity, engagement and overall experience.
  • Who are the Judges?
    The Panel of Judges comprises of Digi personnel and Industry Experts in the Digital Space, to be announced closer to judging day.
  • What do I get if I win a WWWOW Award?
    Each winner will receive a commemorative trophy as well as a prize items worth more than RM15,000 for each category. Please refer to the wwwow.my website for details of the prizes.
  • Will there be a special prize giving event to honor the winners?
    Yes, winners will be required to attend the WWWOW award ceremony on 20 November 2015.

  • If I am a previous winner, can I participate again?
    No, unless you are participating with a new platform or venture.
